Border Boletín: UA to take lie-detector kiosk to Poland

The University of Arizona’s National Center for Border Security and Immigration Research is taking its flagship research project to show European Union border guards.

A team featuring director Jay Nunamaker and executive director Elyse Golob will fly to Warsaw, Poland in two weeks to show border guards from 27 European Union countries the center’s Avatar Kiosk.  The workshop, called “Intelligent agents for screening and decision support at border crossings,” will showcase the avatar technology.
