Dienstag soll der "11. Europäische Polizeikongreß" im BCC am
Alexanderplatz in Berlin stattfinden. Mit dabei etliche Hardliner aus
der europäischen Innenpolitik, internationale Polizeiführer,
Geheimdienste, Militärs. Neben dem G8 in Heiligendamm werden auch die
"Grenzschutzagentur Frontex", der Einsatz der Bundeswehr im Innern und
europäische Polizeieinsätze im Ausland ausgewertet.
Vorratsdatenspeicherung und Internetüberwachung sollen europaweit
"harmonisiert" werden. Europol bekommt nun "operative Kompetenz".
Zum
Kongreß wird auch der Rechtsaußen-Politiker Franco Frattini erwartet.
Frattini ist Vizepräsident der Europäischen Kommission und EU-Kommissar
für "Justiz, Freiheit und Sicherheit". Gemeinsam mit Innenminister
Schäuble versucht er in der informellen "Future Group" mehr Überwachung und Kontrolle im Vertrag von Lissabon zu verankern.
